Submit a CV.

In the first instance lets see your CV, it is important to make sure a CV is concise, clear and easy to read from a potential employers point of view. Clear employment dates explaining what your responsibilities are / were with an emphasis on achievements. Very often a CV will have the name of an employer, however it may not be clear what the company does. Explain what services or products the company provides or manufactures. No CV should be more than four pages, a potential employer will look at your current job first and then scan quickly the previous jobs with employment dates. You need to leave the potential employer wanting to delve further into your career through questions. Clean, precise and to the point.

This is a brand new position and opportunity for a Head of Commercial to join one of the UK’s most respected manufacturers of windows, doors and specialist double glazing products.

 

+ Having developed an excellent reputation for quality and service covering all sectors of the fenestration industry this is a new position for an experienced contracts manager or contracts director

+ As the head of commercial your experience will be specifically in the new build or commercial market having a thorough understanding of contracts management, running multiple sites.

+ Your experience will be in either the new build or social housing sector managing a division, but most importantly managing all aspects of the contracting operation, this will include internal operations and estimating.

+ The company sees this division growing significantly over the next five years and as such the commercial head will have considerable opportunity to shape and grow the company based on his or her experience. This really is a very exciting new opportunity.

+ Are you a customer support manager or customer services manager looking for a new and genuinely dynamic opportunity?

+ This award winning specialist glazing manufacturer is in need of an experienced customer support manager.

+ You will work closely with the head of sales and MD, ensuring that the internal sales support and estimators are managing workload.

+ The customer support manager will liaise with the internal teams and production facility to ensure that from point of order, windows and doors are manufactured on time and in full.

+ This is not a double glazing business, this is a B2B operation supplying independent retail installers throughout the UK.

+ It would be beneficial if the customer support manager had experience of working in the glazing or fenestration industry, however this is not essential.

+ What is essential is the ability to work closely with the internal teams to ensure transparency from order input through to finished goods from a customer satisfaction point of view.

+ If you are working in the double glazing industry as a service engineer and would welcome the opportunity to work for a highly respected supplier of aluminium windows and doors then this could be your opportunity.

+ The company offer an excellent package with a long term stable working environment, with on site and office based product training programmes.

+ As the service engineer you would work from home and in the field looking after fabricators and installation companies from a technical support front.

+ The service engineer will need to have experience of window or door fitting and have a good technical understanding of double glazing products, ideally in aluminium, though not essential.
